The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) intends to solicit and negotiate a contract action with Lockheed Martin Corporation for F-35 Lightning II Lots 20-21. The proposed contract action will provide Ancillary Mission Equipment (AME), namely Ancillary Armament Equipment (AAE), such as weapon umbilical cables, pylons, etc. The key aspects of this opportunity include: • The contract is for a sole source procurement, with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics being the only known qualified and responsible source. • The contract will provide AME, including AAE, for the F-35 Lightning II Lots 20-21. • Interested sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to provide the requested services. • The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. • The anticipated award date for the first contract action is in the 2nd quarter of calendar year 2026.
