The City University of New York (CUNY) is seeking a qualified firm to provide consulting services in the area of emerging data solutions utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging AI tools. The selected contractor will work with the Office of Applied Research, Evaluation, and Data Analytics (OAREDA) to leverage trustworthy AI tools that can support the growing needs of CUNY's data analytics abilities. The contractor will provide consulting services, including examination of CUNY's existing public data displays, analysis of the information gathered, preparation of a report containing recommendations for data strategies and infrastructure, and delivery of three working AI chatbots. The contractor must have at least five years of experience in providing consulting services relating to technical and data management solutions for institutions of higher education and must have completed at least three similarly sized projects that demonstrate the ability to develop generative AI solutions. • The contractor will examine CUNY's existing public data displays to understand the data reporting and reporting needs at the University. • The contractor will analyze the information gathered to determine which reporting dashboards and other data delivery mechanisms are appropriate candidates for trusted and secure AI integrations and solutions. • The contractor will prepare a report containing recommendations for data strategies and infrastructure that will be best suited to develop and test a proposed AI solution. • The contractor will deliver three working AI chatbots, including one for external use, one for internal use, and one for interactive intake forms. • The contractor must ensure the chatbots are fully responsive and accessible via multiple devices and are compatible with major web browsers and operating systems.
