The City of Cleveland is seeking proposals from qualified providers to offer Out-of-School Time (OST) programs and employment opportunities for youth and adults. The programs should align with the City's efforts to address the root causes of violence, promote healing and wellness, and support the development of skills and knowledge required to thrive. The programs must support one or more of the following areas: Prenatal to Early Childhood, Overall Wellbeing, Educational Outcomes and Out-of-School Time, and College and Career Readiness. The proposal should include a detailed program design, evidence of program success, and a plan for providing services in trusted community spaces. Some key points to consider for this opportunity include: • Programs should be high-quality and designed to support youth in grades K-12 and/or emerging adults • Providers are not required to address all age ranges • Programs that include participation by youth or adults with disabilities are encouraged • Proposed programs should be inclusive OST programs which provide the opportunity for all individuals to improve their social skills while gaining new experiences in a safe environment • Programs will be offered during one or more seasonal session (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall) • Awards will be based on factors such as funding availability, capacity of providers, identification of hosting site, community needs, and program quality
