Description:
The Township of Middletown is seeking bids for the collection of brush from Township roadways. The contractor will be responsible for collecting brush from all streets in the zones awarded, delivering them to the Township of Middletown Fire Academy, and ensuring that all areas are left clean and substantially free of debris. The contract period is from April 6th, 2026, to May 18th, 2026. • The contractor must provide a valid certificate of insurance, workman’s compensation, and liability insurance ($1,000,000 minimum) naming the Township of Middletown as the Co-Insured. • The contractor must complete and submit a State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate (NJ-REG). • The contractor must collect brush from all streets in the zones awarded and deliver them to the Township of Middletown Fire Academy. • The contractor must ensure that all areas are left clean and substantially free of debris. • The contractor must wear ANSI Class II or III safety vests at all times. • The contractor must follow traffic safety standards in accordance with the AASHTO guidelines and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
