The County of El Dorado is soliciting proposals from experienced firms to provide food services at its jail facilities in Placerville and South Lake Tahoe, California. The successful Proposer will be required to enter into a three-year agreement, with a County option to renew for an additional two years. The Proposer will be responsible for providing food services, including purchasing food, consumable paper goods, and cleaning supplies, as well as recruiting, hiring, and training civilian personnel. The Proposer must also provide line operation supervision of inmates and ensure that all meals are served at appropriate temperatures and in a manner that makes them palatable and visually pleasing.
