The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to acquire InvisAlert Software Solution, a brand-name software, to be implemented and hosted in the VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC). The solution will be used for patient location monitoring and behavior observation in mental health wards. The software must provide real-time patient data, ensure closer adherence to monitoring protocols, and integrate seamlessly with existing VA systems. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price basis with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. • The software must be a programmable proximity-based rounding system to allow nursing staff to record rounding information and upload to computerized patient record systems (CPRS). • The system must be able to provide real-time proactive alerting and respond to safety concerns immediately. • The software must fully support the complexities and nuances of behavioral health workflows. • The system must integrate with existing VA systems through the Admission, Discharge, and Transfer feed.
