The Texas General Land Office and Veterans Land Board are seeking a highly skilled contractor to construct the proposed Phase 3 - Crypts and Columbarium Expansion to the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. The project includes the construction of an administration annex building, a new committal shelter, a columbarium plaza, and double-depth pre-placed crypts, as well as roads and grounds with supporting infrastructure. The facility must be constructed to meet all VA and State construction standards. The approximate cost range for the project is $11 to $12.5 million. • The project is located within the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. • The project includes the construction of 4,700 crypts and 4,000-niche columbaria plaza. • The project requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and services necessary to complete the work. • The project has a tentative schedule of events, including a pre-proposal conference, pre-proposal site visits, and a deadline for submitting questions. • The contractor will be required to submit a recommended Milestone/Work Progress Schedule and to meet certain reporting requirements.
