The City of Pasadena is seeking a coordinator to manage the ArtNight Docent program, which includes outreach, training, scheduling, and coordination of docents for two ArtNight events. The coordinator must have evening availability for docent training sessions and be onsite at Pasadena City Hall before, during, and after each event. The coordinator will be responsible for developing volunteer and docent outreach and recruitment materials, revising and preparing training documents, and organizing and conducting training sessions. The coordinator will also supervise and coordinate volunteers, docents, and site managers during the events. • Develop volunteer and docent outreach and recruitment material • Revise and prepare training documents and packets for docents and student ambassadors • Organize, plan, and conduct training sessions with docents, ambassadors, volunteers • Assign routes and email docents with details, answer questions, deal with complaints and reworking assignments • Supervise and coordinate volunteers, docents, and site managers during the event • Rearrange assignments as cancellations and no shows occur, connect ambassadors with a ride to their venue • Participate in clean up after the event • Assist with coordination of online event in lieu of, or in addition to in-person event, as needed
