Description:
The SFO Recycled Water System Project involves the design and construction of an Advanced Water Treatment Plant (AWTP) to meet Title 22 requirements for recycled water and remove per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from the effluent. The project also includes the design and construction of a 250,000-gallon storage tank, pump station, and distribution system. The project requires upgrades to three existing Sequence Batch Reactors (SBR) and the construction of one new SBR for permit compliance. • The project is a Progressive Design-Build Project where Trade Work is incrementally authorized by the Airport. • The goal of the project is to design, construct, permit, activate, commission, and closeout the new construction for the Recycled Water System Project. • The project requires the subcontractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the project. • The subcontractor must strictly comply with all requirements for system and utility shutdowns and associated coordination required to maintain safety and the live operational environment.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$1,000,000 – $5,000,000

The budget for this project is likely to be in the range of $1 million to $5 million, considering the scope of work, which includes the design and construction of an Advanced Water Treatment Plant, a 250,000-gallon storage tank, pump station, and distribution system, as well as upgrades to existing facilities. The cost of materials, labor, and equipment, as well as the complexity of the project, may influence the likely payment range.
