The Mississippi Department of Public Safety is seeking a contractor to provide security assessment services for the Office of Capitol Police. The contractor will be responsible for assessing the security of buildings on or near the Mississippi Capitol Complex and providing recommendations for the development of effective preventive measures. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for two successive one-year periods. The contractor must have at least five years of experience in providing security assessment services similar in requirements and scale to those described in the RFP. • The contractor must provide a detailed plan of action to achieve the expected outcomes of the scope of work. • The contractor must have a pool of qualified workers to fill requests from MDPS. • The contractor must provide two references that the vendor has contracts with providing the same scope of services. • The contractor must maintain at least the minimum level of worker's compensation insurance, network security and/or privacy liability, comprehensive general liability or professional liability insurance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
