The City of Stonecrest is seeking a contractor to install Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) and Yellow Flashing Traffic Beacons at various locations within the city. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to complete the project. The project aims to enhance traffic safety at crosswalks and includes the installation of beacons and supporting bases. The contractor must comply with the Georgia Department of Transportation's Signing and Marking Design Guidelines and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Key features of the project include: • Installation of RRFBs and Yellow Flashing Traffic Beacons at five locations within the city • Compliance with Georgia Department of Transportation's Signing and Marking Design Guidelines and MUTCD • Furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to complete the project • Installation of beacons and supporting bases • Compliance with ADA requirements and weatherproofing standards • Provision of a solar power report and solar array adequacy assessment for each installation location • Instantaneous activation of adjacent beacons wirelessly connected to the beacon which received the activation signal The contractor must also meet specific experience and licensing requirements, including being registered to do business in the State of Georgia and possessing all required state, federal, and local licenses and certifications.
