The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from firms interested in providing laundry dryer vent cleaning services at the William S. Middleton VA Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. The contract will be for a base year plus four option years, with services to be performed twice a year. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, travel, management, and equipment necessary to provide the services. The scope of work includes cleaning of laundry plant dryers, exhaust duct work, supply duct work, lint trap, and black lint sock, as well as replacement of missing or damaged vent covers or louvers. The contractor must be a Certified National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) operator and must ensure that all employees providing work on the contract are fully trained and competent to perform the required work.
