Metropolitan Council is soliciting sealed electronic bids for the complete renovation of the Lake Street / Midtown aerial station on the METRO Blue Line in Minneapolis. The work includes demolition of existing canopy, catenary, platform shelters, elevators, escalators, and stair enclosures, followed by construction of a new canopy, upgraded catenary system, new elevators, widened stairs, interior operations spaces, and an accessible pedestrian ramp. All civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, traffic control, testing, and commissioning activities are required.
