Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $3,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is not explicitly stated, but based on the services required, it is likely to be a significant amount. The City of Omaha is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive administrative services for its self-funded medical and prescription drug plan, which suggests a large and complex contract. The cost of such services can vary widely depending on factors such as the size of the plan, the number of participants, and the level of service required. However, as a rough estimate, the annual cost of third-party administration services for a large self-funded plan could range from $500,000 to $5 million or more, depending on the scope of services and the level of expertise required. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include: - The size and complexity of the City's self-funded plan - The level of service required, including network access, provider discounts, and customer service - The vendor's experience and expertise in providing similar services - The level of competition for the contract - The City's budget and funding constraints Based on these factors, a reasonable estimate for the budget for this opportunity could be between $1 million and $3 million per year, depending on the specifics of the contract and the vendor's proposal.
