NASA's Technology Transfer Program is seeking companies interested in obtaining license rights to commercialize, manufacture, and market a freeze-resistant hydration system. The technology prevents water from freezing in the tubing, container, and mouthpiece, even in harsh conditions. It was originally designed by an astronaut-mountaineer and has been field-tested at Mt. Everest. The license rights may be issued on an exclusive or nonexclusive basis and may include specific fields of use. • The technology is designed to work in extreme conditions, including minus 40 degrees Celsius and 15-mile-per-hour winds. • The device was field-tested at Mt.
