Installation of Sixteen (16) Solar Panels

Riverside Transit Agency is seeking a qualified contractor to procure, deliver, and install sixteen (16) solar‑panel and LED‑lighting systems at designated bus shelters throughout Riverside County. The work is a one‑time, firm‑fixed‑price contract that includes removal of existing equipment, installation of new photovoltaic panels and lighting fixtures, testing, commissioning, permitting, traffic control, and site cleanup. Bidders must be licensed California electrical or solar contractors, provide a 10 % bid bond, and furnish performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract amount, along with required insurance and prevailing‑wage certifications. The project must be completed and invoiced by June 30 2026. • Install 16 solar‑panel/LED systems at specific bus‑shelter locations (list provided in Exhibit B). • Provide all materials, labor, permits, traffic‑control measures, testing, and warranty coverage. • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations (debarment, DBE, prevailing‑wage, drug‑free workplace, etc.) and submit extensive certifications (Exhibit C).
