AS-NEEDED TRANSPORTATION SERVICES (2017-SQAN002)

The Los Angeles County Public Works department is seeking statement of qualifications (SOQ) for as-needed transportation services. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a qualified list of contractors that can perform work when the County anticipates the need for as-needed transportation services. Proposers must meet minimum mandatory requirements, including having 3 years of experience providing fixed route transportation services and satisfactory California Highway Patrol Safety Compliance Inspections. The solicitation will remain open continuously, and Public Works may release an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to qualified contractors in the near future. • Minimum mandatory requirements include 3 years of experience providing fixed route transportation services and satisfactory California Highway Patrol Safety Compliance Inspections. • Subcontracting is not allowed for this service. • The County strongly encourages participation from firms certified in the County's Local Small Business Enterprise (LSBE), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), and Social Enterprise (SE) Preference Programs. • The solicitation will remain open continuously, and Public Works may release an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to qualified contractors in the near future.
