Shuttle Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs - Network Contracting Office 17 is seeking information from qualified businesses to provide shuttle services for the VA North Texas Health Care Campuses, including Dallas, Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic, and Bonham. The services will involve transporting Veteran patients, visitors, volunteers, and employees within the campuses. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, vehicles, equipment, supervision, and tools to carry out the shuttle transportation services. The contract is anticipated to cover a period of one year, with four one-year option periods. The contractor will need to meet various requirements, including providing professional signage on the shuttle buses, ensuring the vehicles are clean and well-maintained, and providing customer service training to shuttle drivers. Some key responsibilities include: • Providing shuttle services utilizing vehicles capable of transporting safely and comfortably • Ensuring the vehicles are clean and well-maintained • Providing customer service training to shuttle drivers • Coordinating with valet and outpatient escort staff to ensure patients, visitors, and staff are handled appropriately • Maintaining a contingency plan in case of disruptions or emergencies The contractor will need to demonstrate their experience and qualifications to successfully perform the scope of work described in the draft Performance Work Statement.
