Bid No. 267009 Fluorosilicic Acid

The City of Salem is seeking bids for the supply of fluorosilicic acid for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. The successful bidder will be required to provide NSF/ANSI Standard 60 documentation prior to award. The fluorosilicic acid must meet the requirements of ANSI/AWWA B703-11 and be certified as suitable for contact with or treatment of drinking water. The City estimates that it will require 360,000 pounds of fluorosilicic acid per year. • The fluorosilicic acid must contain between 20 and 30 percent fluorosilicic acid by weight. • The fluorosilicic acid must meet the requirements of ANSI/AWWA B703-11. • The successful bidder must provide NSF/ANSI Standard 60 documentation prior to award. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities. • The City is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
