Presolicitation Notice for Full-Line Food and Beverage Item Distribution for DLA Troop Support's Customers in Northern New England and Surrounding Areas (Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont)

The DLA Troop Support is conducting market research for a potential solicitation for a Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) to support the Northern New England region, which includes Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The SPV contractor will be responsible for providing full-line food and beverage item distribution support for garrison type feeding to military, federally funded, and other authorized customers in the covered region. The contractor will need to provide food products such as canned items, dry items, chill items, and frozen products. The customers listed include Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Bath Iron Works, Port of Portsmouth, NH, and Vermont Army National Guard. The contractor will need to consider delivery schedules, location limitations, and shipping methods. • The contractor must be able to support any or all of the customers listed above. • The contractor must be able to meet the delivery schedule of 48 hours after placing orders. • The contractor must be able to provide smaller pack-size items for remotely located customers. • The contractor must be able to provide service regardless of weather conditions. • The contractor must be willing and capable of completing a long-term 5-year contract.
