FLOSSMOOR ROAD VIADUCT STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS, FLOSSMOOR, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS

The United States Army Corps of Engineers- Chicago District is planning to issue a solicitation for the Flossmoor Road Viaduct Storm Sewer Improvements project in Flossmoor, Cook County, Illinois. The project aims to address frequent and significant flooding at the viaduct by providing increased conveyance capacity and in-line storage for surcharged stormwater. The work includes construction of up to 500 linear feet of new 72-inch diameter trunk line storm sewer, as well as incidental related work, including pavement, sidewalk, driveway, and parkway restoration. • The project is restricted to small business concerns with a size standard of $45.0 Million. • The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. • The requirement is for one year. • Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of bid submission.
