FY26 Bureau of Land Management Invasive and Noxious Plant Management - Bureau wide

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking applications for its Invasive and Noxious Plant Management program. The program aims to prevent, detect, inventory, control, and monitor weed populations on public lands. The BLM is looking for projects that will advance early detection rapid response, enhance emergency stabilization and burned area rehabilitation, advance education, awareness, and citizen science relative to invasive species, conduct invasive species treatments to protect resource values on public lands, and support classical biological control agent development. Eligible applicants include state governments, county governments, city or township governments, special district governments, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, Native American tribal governments, Native American tribal organizations, nonprofits, and private institutions of higher education. • The BLM will provide funding for up to 40 projects, with a maximum award amount of $400,000 and a minimum award amount of $20,000. • The project period is expected to be 60 months, with an anticipated start date of December 31, 2026, and an anticipated end date of December 30, 2031. • Applications must be submitted through Grants.gov by September 25, 2026. • The BLM will review applications based on their merit, and selected applicants will be required to obtain an account with the Automated Standard Application for Payments (ASAP) system.
