RFP 2527-08 FOR HISTORIC BENTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE REUSE ALTERNATIVES AND COMMUNITY INPUT STUDY

The Historic Benton County Courthouse Reuse Alternatives and Community Input Study aims to explore possible reuse alternatives for the historic courthouse. The scope of work includes synthesizing existing technical documentation, refining reuse alternatives, designing and executing a community engagement process, and producing a final report with recommendations. Key aspects of the project include: • Synthesizing existing technical documentation into a clear common substrate for evaluating the six reuse alternatives • Refining the six alternatives identified by the Historic Courthouse Advisory Committee and producing order-of-magnitude cost ranges for each • Designing and executing a community engagement process to give the public a meaningful voice in the direction the project takes • Producing a final report and Board presentation that recommends a direction, summarizes community input, and identifies the work that should follow to advance the preferred alternative
