Ultrasound Technician Services for Pine Ridge IHS Hospital

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking capability statements from qualified vendors to provide ultrasound technologist services to support the Radiology Department at the Pine Ridge IHS Hospital and Outlying Clinics. The selected contractor will be required to provide up to three full-time equivalent (FTE) ultrasound technologists to perform a range of sonographic procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric/gynecologic, vascular, and small parts imaging. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of patient workload, exams performed, and required imaging documentation in the applicable facility systems. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price, performance-based, non-personal services contract with a period of performance of six weeks plus ten six-week option periods. Key requirements include: • Providing qualified ultrasound technologist personnel with at least one year of experience performing ultrasound examinations • Maintaining accurate documentation of patient workload, exams performed, and required imaging documentation • Complying with applicable PRSU policies, IHS requirements, infection control standards, radiation safety standards, and accreditation expectations • Providing radiation dosimeter badges for contractor personnel when radiographic duties are performed • Ensuring personnel complete all required facility orientation, annual training, and policy acknowledgments • Ensuring personnel perform only within their professional qualifications and authorized scope
