NRCS' Feral Swine Eradication and Control Pilot Program Fiscal Year (FY) 2026

The purpose of the Feral Swine Eradication and Control Project (FSCP) is to respond to the threat feral swine pose to agriculture, native ecosystems, and human and animal health. The project aims to provide financial assistance to non-federal partners for landowner assistance for restoration and/or on-farm trapping efforts. The project will consist of three coordinated components: feral swine removal by APHIS, restoration efforts supported by NRCS or non-federal partners, and assistance to producers for feral swine control provided through grants with non-federal partners. • The project will be a collaborative and coordinated effort between the selected partner, NRCS, and APHIS. • APHIS will maintain operational control of feral swine management activities. • The project will include a trapping, monitoring, and mitigation portion. • The project will provide financial assistance for activities that will help landowners control the feral swine population and/or recover from damages inflicted by feral swine.
