Dollar General Lift Station

The City of York is seeking bids to upgrade its Dollar General lift station located at the intersection of Hwy 321 and California Street. The existing station will stay in place during construction, but a series of upgrades will be installed within and around the current wet well, including new influent gravity sewer connections, pumps, piping, a valve vault structure, and a complete electrical system with controls and an on‑site emergency generator. Additional site work includes creating a curb cut from Hwy 321 to improve driveway access. This project falls under a “Other” delivery method and requires one original bid copy plus two additional copies. • New influent gravity sewer and wet‑well pump package • Installation of a valve vault and full electrical/control system with emergency generator • Site improvements: curb cut and driveway access enhancements • All work performed while existing station remains operational
