Actuarial Valuation & Consulting Services

The Town of Westerly/Westerly Public Schools is seeking proposals for actuarial valuation and consulting services. The successful bidder will be responsible for conducting independent actuarial valuations for the town's Police Pension Funds and Other Post-Employment Benefits. The contract will be for a three-year term with the option to extend for two additional one-year terms. The scope of work includes annual reports, biannual valuation reports, and interim valuation reports. The town is looking for a firm with experience in providing similar services to municipalities in Rhode Island. • The proposal should include the firm's understanding of the services to be provided, an overview of the firm's history, qualifications of staff, and certifications. • The firm should provide a complete listing of Rhode Island municipalities that can be contacted for references. • The proposal should include pricing on a five-year basis, submitted on Attachment B. • The firm should provide its EEOC policy statement and a statement that the proposal is a firm and irrevocable offer for 120 days.
