Sources Sought for FY26 Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway Maintenance Dredging ��������� Select Sites

The Savannah District Corps of Engineers is conducting a market‑research Sources Sought to gauge contractor capability for FY26 maintenance dredging of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) at three select sites: Hell Gate (Chatham County, GA), Florida Passage (Chatham County, GA) and Fields Cut (Jasper County, SC). The work involves hydraulic cutterhead dredging (or equivalent methods) to maintain a 12‑ft deep, 150‑ft wide channel, removing approximately 265,000 cubic yards of material and placing it at designated beneficial‑use sites. The contract is expected to run for about five months (165 days) after a notice to proceed. • Scope includes mobilization/demobilization, personnel, equipment, and material handling for maintenance dredging. • Estimated project value $5 M–$10 M; material removal: ~200 k yd (Hell Gate), ~15 k yd (Florida Passage), ~50 k yd (Fields Cut). • Sediment disposal involves pumping to tidal flats east of Ogeechee Bar (Hell Gate & Florida Passage) or to a confined upland containment area (Fields Cut).
