Notice of Intent to Sole Source — Opto 22 Equipment for Black Canyon SCADA system

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking to procure Opto 22 equipment, including "groov" EPIC controllers, I/O modules, power supplies, chassis components, communication modules, and associated software licenses, to support the Black Canyon Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The equipment will be integrated into the existing Generic Data Acquisition Control System (GDACS) architecture to maintain reliable operation, monitoring, and control of mission-critical hydropower infrastructure. • The required equipment includes specific Opto 22 products, such as GRV-IDC-24, GRV-EPIC-PR1, and GRV-EPIC-PR2. • The Government intends to award the contract to Opto 22, but other responsible sources can submit a capability statement and quotation. • The award will be made to the source that can provide the complete, technically acceptable solution at a fair and reasonable price.
