Janitorial Services - Great Bend

The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the Great Bend Office, located at 204 E HWY 56, Great Bend, Kansas 67530. The office has approximately 2,100 sq. ft of cleanable space, including three restrooms and two stairways. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, supplies, and labor to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with the option to renew. The contractor will be required to provide a cost sheet with their bid, including monthly and annual costs for the services. • The contractor will be responsible for emptying wastebaskets, cleaning and sanitizing drinking fountains, dusting furniture and office machines, and removing fingerprints from doors and light switches. • The contractor will also be responsible for cleaning the lobby, stairwells, and entrance, as well as washing all wastebaskets. • The contractor will be required to provide a monthly schedule of services, including the date and time of each service. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all services are performed in a manner that does not disturb the normal operation of the office. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations, including those related to employment, labor, and environmental protection. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all services performed, including the date, time, and description of each service.
