The County of Erie is seeking bids for the lease of four parcels of farmland, totaling approximately 189.4 acres, for a period of five years, from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030. The successful bidder will be required to pay an annual rent, with one-half of the yearly rent due on September 1 and the balance due on December 1 of each contract year. The lessee will be responsible for maintaining the property, including inspecting and cleaning tile systems, and following a soil and water conservation plan.
