Broadcast Engineering Services

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a qualified supplier to provide broadcast engineering services for KUAR/KLRE. The selected supplier will be responsible for maintaining and repairing broadcast equipment, performing routine maintenance, and providing emergency and urgent repairs. The supplier will also be required to advise station management on broadcast engineering needs and install wiring and equipment as needed. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to six additional one-year terms. • The supplier must have at least five years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing broadcast studio equipment and analog and digital FM and HD transmitters. • The supplier must have experience interfacing IT and computer networks with broadcast and studio equipment. • The supplier must be able to communicate effectively with professionals with a broad range of skills and experience. • The supplier must have 100% reliable transportation and be able to access studios and transmitter sites in all weather conditions.
