Early Intervention for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

The Ohio Department of Education is seeking an independent contractor to provide early‑intervention hearing services for infants and toddlers (birth‑3) who are deaf or hard of hearing. The contractor will conduct functional evaluations, develop and implement Individual Family Service Plans, provide direct service delivery in natural environments, and collaborate with the state’s early‑intervention team through monthly meetings and trainings. The work includes evidence‑based practices, coordination with local HMG programs, and reporting deliverables such as final project reports. • Provide functional hearing evaluations and develop IFSPs for birth‑3 children. • Deliver direct, evidence‑based hearing services and consult with early‑intervention teams. • Attend required monthly meetings/training, submit required documentation, and maintain licensure/certifications.
