BL126-26, Purchase of Butterfly Valves for the Lanier and Shoal Creek Filter Plants

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is seeking competitive sealed bids to supply, design, and fabricate a series of double‑offset butterfly valves and associated gearboxes for two water‑treatment filter plants (Lanier and Shoal Creek). The valves range from 54″ to 108″ in size and must meet AWWA standards, be compatible with existing actuators, and be delivered to the two sites in Buford, GA. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; installation, field testing, and warranty services are excluded from this solicitation. • Scope includes design, manufacture, and delivery of 17 butterfly valves (four 108″, one 108″ HSPS, two 96″, two 108″ at SCFP, one 96″ & three 54″ for RW tanks, four 72″ motor‑operated valves). • Required submittals: shop drawings, material certifications, operation & maintenance manuals, spare parts list. • Delivery FOB Destination, freight prepaid to each plant. • Pre‑bid conference (optional) on Sep 2, 2026; questions due Sep 10, 2026; bid deadline Sep 23, 2026.
