Distributor of Produce

The Redmond School District is seeking a qualified vendor to provide fresh produce to the Nutrition Services Department. The contract will be for one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods. The successful vendor will be required to provide fresh produce to 15 tax-exempt public school sites located in Redmond, Tumalo, and Terrebonne, Oregon. The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and the Federal Civil Rights Act. • The vendor must have the capability to perform the contract requirements fully, including the ability to deliver fresh produce to the designated sites. • The vendor must have a valid tax identification number and provide a current W-9 form. • The vendor must maintain insurance with an insurance carrier satisfactory to the Redmond School District. • The vendor must comply with the Oregon Public Records Law and the Oregon Government Ethics Law. • The vendor must provide references as part of the proposal submission. • The vendor must agree to a thorough background check for all company personnel who will be on-site.
