The Town of North Kingstown is seeking bids for the purchase of one (1) Type 1 Rescue vehicle. The vehicle must meet the specifications outlined in the bid document, which includes requirements for the chassis, engine, transmission, brakes, and other components. The bid will be evaluated based on the lowest evaluated or responsive bid price. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The vehicle must be a new, Type 1 Rescue vehicle • The vehicle must meet all State and Federal safety standards and laws • The vehicle must be equipped with a Cummins engine and an Allison transmission • The vehicle must have a minimum wheelbase of 168 inches • The vehicle must have a maximum overall length of 308 inches • The vehicle must have a maximum overall height of 115 inches • The vehicle must have a minimum ground clearance of 8 inches • The vehicle must be painted with a two-color custom paint job • The vehicle must have a warranty for the electrical system, body module structure, and paint
