Description
The University of Houston is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive chemical waste management services for its campuses during FY27. The scope includes hazardous and non‑hazardous waste analysis, collection, transportation, disposal, and recycling, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and university regulations. Vendors must be capable of handling a variety of waste streams, provide documentation and reporting, and maintain appropriate permits and safety protocols. The contract will likely be a multi‑year (FY27) agreement with annual performance reviews.
• Provide analytical testing of chemical waste streams
• Collect, segregate, and transport hazardous & non‑hazardous waste from university facilities
• Dispose of waste at licensed treatment, storage, and disposal facilities (TSDFs)
• Offer recycling or resource recovery where feasible
• Deliver compliance documentation, manifests, and regular reporting
• Maintain all required permits, insurance, and safety plans
• Respond to a non‑mandatory pre‑submission meeting (10/19/2026) and submit proposals via the Jaggaer portal by 10/30/2026.
