RFP – McNary CO2 Fire Suppression System

The Northern Wasco County Public Utility District is seeking a qualified contractor to design, engineer, demolish, and replace the existing CO₂ fire‑suppression system at the McNary Dam. The scope includes a full review of the current fire‑alarm system, instrumentation & control equipment, hazardous‑area classification per NFPA 70 and NFPA 497, and provision of new system drawings, specifications, and installation plans. Respondents must attend a pre‑bid meeting (August 13 2026) and may be required to complete a site walk (location and safety requirements detailed in Amendment 001). The solicitation package includes multiple amendments providing additional drawings, RFI responses, and extension materials.
