Intent to Sole Source

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) plans to issue a sole source award to Wellspring for access to patent docketing services. Wellspring is the only patent docketing system that is currently FEDRAMP certified and can start work immediately. The period of performance for this award will be one year from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with four one-year subsequent option periods. • The award will be issued via other than full and open competition, as only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. • Interested parties may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency no later than 30 days from the posting date. • The written response must include a general statement for services indicated in this announcement and past performance client information for a similar product.
