EMERGENCY MEALS

The Marine Corps Installations West is seeking contractors to provide emergency meals, including sack lunches and hot meals, to support the Fire Department aboard various sites, including Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. The contractor will be required to provide all facilities, equipment, materials, supplies, tools, and transportation necessary to perform the services. The meals must meet specific requirements, including nutritional content and packaging. The contract will be for a period of one base year and four one-year options. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must be able to respond to delivery orders within 15 minutes and deliver meals within 4 hours. • The contractor must provide a variety of meal options, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. • The contractor must comply with all applicable food preparation and safety regulations. • The contractor must provide two copies of each delivery ticket for signature at the time of delivery.
