Provision of Firefighter Turnout Gear

Gwinnett County is seeking a vendor to supply, fit, and maintain a full line of firefighter turnout gear that meets a suite of NFPA and ASTM standards. The contract is a one‑year, renewable agreement for approximately 327 coats and 327 pants (plus accessories), with a requirement to provide nine size‑specific sample sets at no cost for wear‑testing, maintain barcode‑enabled traceability, and offer on‑call technical support and repair services. The vendor must also supply a “fitter line” of garments, manage record‑keeping of individual measurements, and uphold extensive insurance coverage. • Provide NFPA‑compliant turnout coats and pants (outer shell, thermal liner, moisture barrier) with custom features (reinforced cuffs, ergonomic cuts, DRD, etc.). • Deliver nine individualized sample sets for wear‑testing, conduct fittings for all firefighters, and maintain a traceability system with barcode labels. • Submit detailed unit pricing, meet strict insurance limits, and comply with all non‑collusion, ethics, and E‑Verify certifications.
