Description
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is soliciting quotes for the retrieval of 79 eDNA samples from the Dry Fork basin in Montana. The project involves collecting samples from targeted streams, including mainstem Dry Fork, Cabin Cr, Dwight Cr, Canyon Cr, Conger Cr, and several unnamed drainages. The contractor will be required to provide a brief summary report detailing trail conditions, intermittent stream reaches, dry sampling locations, fish barriers, and other pertinent information. The project is expected to be completed during relatively low-water conditions, between July 15th and November 1st.
• The contractor will need to access the streams via a 6-mile hike from the Hobnail Tom Trailhead and may require packstock to transport equipment to a base camp.
• The contractor will need to provide their own equipment, but the BLM will provide sample kits.
• The contractor will need to submit a quote that includes a lump sum price for the project.
• The project is set-aside for Small Business Concerns and is a service acquisition.
