Kiefer Landfill Basin Discharge Piping

The County of Sacramento is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work required to install approximately 1,132 ft of new 8‑in. HDPE pipe for the Kiefer Landfill Basin discharge system, connect it to existing 12‑in. PVC pipe, install protective culverts at two road crossings, repair the access road, and install a new air‑relief valve. The work must comply with all applicable specifications, permits, and regulations, and will be performed primarily above ground with some buried sections. Bids are to be submitted electronically by September 24, 2026, with a pre‑bid meeting (non‑mandatory) on September 10, 2026. The estimated construction cost is $120,000 and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bid. • Install 1,132 ft of 8‑in.
