Municipal Financial Advisory Services

The City of Woonsocket is seeking a firm to provide financial advisory services, including advising on the City's overall approach to financings, assisting with competitive and negotiated financings, and providing market information. The selected firm will work collaboratively with City departments and other professionals involved in the City's financings. The contract will be for a three-year term, with two optional one-year extensions. • The firm will provide financial advisory services to the City, including general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, lease programs, and refunding opportunities. • The firm will assist the City in communicating with rating agencies and developing marketing plans. • The firm will evaluate proposals on refunding opportunities and other financing ideas. • The firm will provide recommendations on the management of the City's debt, including refunding opportunities and asset/liability management strategies. • The firm will assist the City in meeting its short-term cash flow financing needs.
