RFP – TDFW Sluice Gate Motor and Control Replacement

The Texas Department of Fish and Wildlife seeks a contractor to replace and commission two sluice‑gate drive motors and their associated control systems. The replacement must be performed sequentially so that at least one motor remains operational at all times, and each unit must be fully started up and commissioned after installation. The work includes providing the motors, control hardware, wiring, and any required mechanical integration, as well as testing to verify proper operation of the gate. • Supply and install two new drive motors compatible with the existing sluice gate mechanism. • Provide and install complete control panels, wiring, and ancillary hardware for each motor. • Perform start‑up, functional testing, and commissioning for each motor individually, ensuring uninterrupted gate operation. • Deliver all required documentation, manuals, and training for operation and maintenance.
