Description
The Town of Oakland, Maryland is seeking qualified professional engineering firms to develop Phase I of its Water System Comprehensive Engineering & Infrastructure Plan. The scope includes creating and calibrating a hydraulic model of the water distribution network, evaluating alternative water and wastewater infrastructure options, preparing a Preliminary Engineering Report, completing environmental review documentation, and coordinating funding and regulatory requirements. Proposals must be submitted in five hard‑copy copies by the November 9, 2026 deadline; electronic submissions are not accepted. This effort aims to provide a data‑driven foundation for future capital improvements and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
