YELL 338223 - Bridge Preservation

The National Park Service is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive bridge preservation work throughout Yellowstone National Park. The scope includes concrete spalling repair, stone masonry restoration, expansion joint sealing, rail and deck repairs, hydro‑demolition, modified concrete overlay, painting, asphalt paving, traffic‑control installation, erosion control, rip‑rap placement, and associated environmental protections. Work must comply with strict NPS environmental, wildlife, cultural‑resource, and traffic‑management requirements, and be coordinated with multiple concurrent park projects. • Concrete repair and structural concrete overlay on multiple historic bridges • Stone masonry restoration and repointing of historic bridge elements • Bridge rail, anchor bolt, and expansion‑joint replacement and sealing • Hydro‑demolition and deck overlay with modified concrete, followed by painting • Asphalt paving, pavement markings, and site‑wide erosion‑control measures • Installation of temporary traffic‑control devices, lane‑closure coordination, and traffic‑signal systems • Strict environmental safeguards: invasive‑species control, wildlife protection, wetland and geothermal area precautions, cultural‑resource monitoring • Required NPS orientation, certifications for traffic‑control supervisors and flaggers, and 24‑hour equipment inspection prior to park entry.
