PROCESSING OF CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION DEBRIS

The County of Ocean seeks contractors to process construction and demolition (C&D) debris generated from road work, demolition projects, and stump removal. Contractors must secure all required permits, fees, inspections, and licenses, and provide proof of NJDEP-approved recycling or solid‑waste facility authorization. Bids will be evaluated on price per ton and hauling distance, using a formula that adds a mileage charge of $0.50 per ton per mile over the route from the County’s disposal site to the contractor’s facility. The County may award multiple contracts to achieve the lowest overall cost.
