Notice of Intent to Sole Source- BioMerieux

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Office of Regulatory Testing and Surveillance (ORTS) intends to award a sole source contract to bioMérieux, Inc. for annual preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration of VITEK Instruments. The contract will consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option years. All services must be performed in accordance with ISO 17025 standards and by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified technicians using only OEM parts. • The contract is for the maintenance and calibration of VITEK instruments at various ORTS laboratories. • The services must be performed by OEM-certified technicians using only OEM parts. • The contract has a 12-month base period and four 12-month option years. • The FDA is seeking a sole source contract with bioMérieux, Inc., but responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating their status as an OEM-authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller.
