Liquid Calcium Thiosulfate (Captor)

The City of Lincoln Water Division of Transportation & Utilities is seeking bids for the purchase, delivery, and unloading of liquid calcium thiosulfate (Captor) in 275-gallon totes for the Water Division at Ashland and 5-gallon totes for the Water Division at Lincoln. The estimated annual quantities are 30,000-35,000 gallons for Ashland and 250 gallons for Lincoln. The term of the contract shall be one year with the option to renew for three additional one-year terms. The successful bidder will be responsible for all procedures, equipment, safety, and spill control measures necessary to ensure delivery of the chemical load. Key requirements include: • Deliveries shall be made within one to three calendar days of order date for Ashland and within five working days from placement of order for Lincoln • Deliveries shall be 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, no weekends or City Holidays unless arranged in advance • The unit price submitted shall be per gallon which includes all delivery costs including transportation • Suppliers will be responsible for all procedures, equipment, safety, and spill control measures necessary to ensure delivery of the chemical load • Prior to arrival of any chemical delivery, the required security information must be transmitted to the Ashland Treatment Plant
